JConcepts Thread
Recently purchased a pair of Tactic - Slash/Bandit, Street Eliminator 2.2" 12mm hex FR wheel - Chrome. No. 3399C.
Noticed the bead area has what appears a rubber insert. What is that all about? Standard gluing procedure still work? Mounting a pair of Pro-Line Hole Shot buggy fronts using JConcepts Advanced Formula Medium Vis. CA and JConcepts medium application tips.
Use will be on my backyard grass track oval - TRX Bandit Buggy. Thanks. -AC

Do you make a radio bag for M-17 radio’s? Thanks, Dave.

Thanks, Paul. Used a knife edge trying to get under the band and lift it out. Acts like it is bonded to the wheel. Decided not to muck about with it and left them in place. Tire still seats fully in the bead so will glue tires with the band in place.
Yeah, understand now why the band is there. No harm, no foul. Actually been doing a similar thing myself by wrapping rubber bands in the wheel bead area when spray painting other wheels. Only difference, they unwrap and come off readily. Again, thanks for the reply and info. Best regards. -AC

Paul, any plans to offer those 1/8 Turf tires premounted? These are definitely more of a challenge to glue so be cool to just have those ready to go out of the box premounted.
Also any ideas on when those 4wd front sirens will be available to buy?

I don't have an ETA on the 4wd front Sirens, but they are on order
.
Now available along with some fresh turf Stadium Truck tires

So for these three tire types:
- Dirt Bite
- Recon
- Falcon
Assuming same compound, what conditions would you use each type in over the other one? Will there be premounts of any of these in the future?

Any thoughts or development around releasing a fuzzbite with reinforced sidewalls? It feels like everyone is gluing their sidewalls these days, and I for one would pay a premium to have a tire where it wasn't necessary.
Got to use the new Siren 4wds for our Midwest Turf Championships .
During testing tried them out without any sidewall gluing and they felt very similar to a set of Schumacher mini darts that had the same amount of rows trimmed, but a bit more consistent based on the more flat profile and pin count I think is more.
I glued the sidewall which those "bars" on the side seem to act as nice stops for the glue. Vehicle was money at that point, used SIrens front and rear for 4wd, Drop steps for rear 2wd buggy, and then the Nessi and swagger 1/8 combo to take the win in all my classes. Great work on the tires!

Awesome! If you guys are able to try out those turf stadium truck tires in a dirt compound like green, be very curious on that as well as in the old days of nitro 2wd truck the losi step pin pattern in red compound was perfect for alot of the tracks that did 1/8 nitro on them as well. could see a benefit to having something like that again over the goosebumps.

Recon would be more natural dirt with loose, rough conditions. No
Falcon would be similar to Reflex and Dirt Bite, but even more loose conditions. Premounts coming
Ordered the new Swaggo 2wd slim front. Planning on running them on turf with Siren rears. Benefits over fuzzbite and original swaggers?

We tried the Swagoo last night and they are exactly as PW described. Should be a good tire for a high grip carpet track where you want smoother steering than a pin tire offers.
Seems that they have a lower profile sidewall than I remember the Swaggers having?

Yes, the Swagoo is based on the Fuzz Bite/Pin Swag carcass instead of the Swagger carcass.
