On that note, is there any ti turnbuckles jconcepts offers that will work on the yz2t?
The photos of the yz4 and b64 turnbuckles are quite different, won't work. They would have advertised them as compatible if they were.

Thanks guys for taking a look.

My Question is,if everyone is running Pro-line primes in the clay compound do you run Octagons or Smoothies clay compound assuming?

The reason why I ask is Those Dang Pro-line Primes are the hot tire at my local track,Everyone uses them! Me the guy who likes to be different decided to get the Octagons. Don't get me wrong these tires rip,I have TQed with these tires mounted on both of my 10scale buggy's 2wd/4wd. Just would like to hear what you guys are doing out there. Thanks

We use gold Octagons when slick type tires are the choice by the majority. Smoothies have been discontinued, but there are a few still some floating around.

Actually Ryan Maifield just won the CRCRC Mid West race with Gold Octagons

I have heard of people cutting the inner wall of the jc mono slim front wheel when running swaggers on 2wd for high bite carpet. Anyone have experience with this and can explain how this feels vs standard mounting?

Yes, we cut the inner & outer lip off the wheel and mount the bead of the tire out to the edge. This flattens the tire and give a better feel on the track and better wear. Click Here to see a review of AJ Marasco's buggy where it was covered.

nice! If this becomes the hot thing be cool if the wheel came ready to go out of the box for that or even some premounts

personally the greens seemed to work pretty well in comparison (Carpet racing here sauced with SXT 3.0 due to tire limitations) and didn't wear as fast.
