I'd think the tray would outlast the chassis film by a significant margin and it protects the edges of the plate better, not to mention just being neater overall...B44 tray's going on mine as soon as it's available.

What is the differance between the Rounder and Groovy front tires. From the pics they look the same but I know something is different. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Thanks
Brian

The rounder has ribs that are radius, comprable to the losi 7205 prescrub. The groovy has taller ribs that are squared off like a PL 8175 or 8176. Pretty much the only tires anyone ever uses have just been replaced!!

We sell it, part number 1155. Ours is $8, for two sheets.

The undertray will outlast the film, but it seals the heat in as well. The popular choice for the US has been chassis film for some time, as far as Ive seen.

Baumgartner is pretty much onto it. There are some revisions that arent quite obvious, but the tires operate in a similar manner to what he suggested.

The BJ4 Setups are pretty standard though. From the Highest bite blue groove or clay, to running on super loamy tracks, there are only a handful of changes I really make.

Bite: LOW ---> HIGH

Fr Springs: Green ----> Silver

Fr Oil: 30 --> 35 ---> 40

Fr Shock Upper Mount: 2 ---> 1

Rear Sway Bar: Off ---> On

Rear Oil: 25 ---> 30 ----> 35 (extreme bite/heat only)

Rear Spring: Green ----> Silver

Rear Wing: 7" HD Full Lip ----> 7" no Lip ---> 6" HD partial lip ----> 6" HD no lip

That about 98% of the setup changes I will make....super low bite, startes with all the stuff on the left, and super high bite is the stuff on the right. We have the JBRL series here in CA, and I can usually watch a couple of guys run in practice, and guestimate the approximate setup using the model above, and it is usually really close.

Hope this helps!
