Speaking of SC wheels, if you don't want to call it Slash offset you can refer to it as Kyosho SC-6 offset. That might makes things a bit better...

if the body is a smaller version of the ET48, it’s perfect. If it’s not, it’s still perfect too.

Where do I sign up?!!

Stick a stadium truck body on it? Wait for a new one? Not my favorite but no kit body really is lol.

I’m guessing with the tall front shock tower, it’s pretty dang difficult to get a body that fits over it that looks good.

I'm sure we will see many attempts to make the ET410 platform stand out from stock body crowd. I know I got a couple of Finnisher bodies on hand, and other Finnisher bodies picked out for possible semi cab-forward look.

I want to get one of these to drive just for fun at the track, and do some mild bashing with. I don't race anymore. I had turned a stampede 4 x 4 into this type of truggy and it was so much fun to drive with SCT tires on it. I can imagine that this would handle better than the Stampede version for sure.

I have a brand new Hobbywing SCT Pro ESC and a Tenshock SC411 4000kv motor lying around. Anyone know if they will fit?

unlikely. Read some of the early parts of eb410 thread, space is very tight on the chassis for that big of an esc.

totally forgot about that (thanks for the tip!)... I used to race an Ultima SC5 about 8 years ago, though IIRC the foam inserts for Kyosho were very different because the bead would have an angled step down with open cell foams, I don't recall if they ever made closed cell inserts for their wheels or not... I recently started running open cells on the rear and closed cells on the front for turf.

It might be worth running the Kyosho wheels as a tuning option to get a little more fold and get extra grip either on front/rear if necessary... I probably won't need these on turf, but something to consider for those running on medium to low traction conditions.

*** UPDATE
Other SCT's with the same offset:
  • HPI Blitz
  • HoBao Hyper 10SC
  • HongNor Jammin SCRT10
  • RedCat TR-SC10E

I found a "Speedline" series here which give the same "dish" style appearance of traditional ST wheels to help keep the wheels more in line with the spirit of the class:

I'd be willing to bet that Leadfinger will be the first to release a new body just like they did for the EB410... only question is if it will be an ST based body or not???

Bought a Tekin RSX esc. So now I just am deciding which motor. Either going with Tekin Redline 5.5t or 6.5t.

Ya I really like the 4-pole idea. I was a tad worried that it always says those are ideally paired for the RX8 esc though. Any potential issues pairing it with the RSX, long term? I know Matt said they were testing the Pro2 and Pro4 with the RSX but I just felt like I could run into problems down the line.

Comparing manuals (EB to ET), wouldn't you need 2 parts of TKR7272 drive shafts as the ET uses them front and rear? The conversion page indicates only 1 pair is needed.

Also to note, you use the EB rear shock shaft and body on the front of the ET. Stroke is the same 28mm.
