One of the hobby shops in NSW are still claiming end of the week for them to receive their order. All looking good for Aus. Not sure how the US doesn't have theirs yet...

Since AE hasn't released the B6.1 manual (PDF) yet, would anyone who already has their kit be willing to publish a PDF from pics of their hard-copy manual, so that those of us who are less fortunate (lol...) can research/study the build a little, before we get our kits?

I would definitely do it if I had my kit, but alas, amain has said end of the month at the earliest. If anyone is willing, they could just put it in a cloud drive folder (i.e. Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) with access rights to only that document/folder.

Edit: It's times like this, when you are at a low point (sans B6.1), that you find out who your real friends are...lol

Would also like to know ! And on the topic I had to really tighten down those 4 little diff screws or else it would rub a little in the transmission case.

Beside that no real problems with the build

My LHS said yesterday it's already in custom so everyone got their order end of his months.

I don’t know, but would guess they airmail a few to the team drivers and the rest come on the slow boat from China.

I understand production moved to Asia once TT bought AE out in what 05. Gotcha on a pre production batch.

Still waiting on my pre order getting tired of the BS no matter what the cause. IMO it's a piss poor way to do business.

It adds a bit of drag to the gear by loading the shim against the diff case.

In theory it should let you get away with a thinner oil for 'normal' driving feel but then diff out less readily when only one wheel in contact with the ground .... a little bit more of the ball diff feel .... it's a good theory, not tried it yet myself though.

B6.1 and B6.1D both built flawlessly.

B6.1D has more traction on wet astro than the B6D standup.

B6.1 seems to have more forward drive and more steering than the B6 did, faster and easier to drive .... money well spent

A little more communication from AE would go a long way. Look at TLR, Frank Root is very active.
