maybe once we get a few more tracks we can look at a state series like they do with other motor sports and have the winner crowned as the real state champion separate from the state titles. ....... Just a thought

Dave, it was decided by the committee last night to cancel the easter meet as alot of people go away for the long weekend as it would be pointless to put on a meeting for only afew people and it would look bad for the club if people came out to see us race and there's only 3 people out there. Also, since the interclub is the following weekend, so ur not really missing out on a race day.

Also, for those that were wondering, the canceled easter race will not be counted as a dropped round in the championship.

Questions?? Naracoorte and Edenhope

Hi guys,

Just wanted to clarify the whole Naracoorte/Edenhope thing a little.

The event on the 30th and 31st of May is the inaugural race for Border Remote Control Car Club (Edenhope, Victoria), come along, theres a massive effort going into making this a great event.

Limestone Coast Remote Control Model Car Club (Naracoorte, South Australia - 50 kms this side of the border) has just got it hands on land in the last month, previously we have been running on a local grass oval. LCRCMCC is in the process of designing its track and facilities as well as the planning stages to build the best surface possible.

The long and the short of it is that Naracoorte and Edenhope are 2 seperate clubs only 50kms apart (yay for me, double the racing ). So, as the far as things goes, you'll have 2 tracks to race at down here.

I'm not trying to steal Mick B's thunder, as I run at both tracks and we (Mick and I) are best mates. Just trying to clarify the situation. I really look forward to racing with you guys at Edenhope when you come across, and with any luck, towards the end of the year or early next year you will hear about Naracoortes new track and you can come and race here

Anyway, best of luck with your racing guys and I may see you at Morphette Vale in the not too distant future.

Cheers

Mike

And you're a paid-up member, too. What a waste !

Would be good to see you Sunday. Come on down !

Noms usually 09:30 to 09:45. Racing usually starts a little after 10:00.

I paid $50 to beat Foord at the State Titles, not to be a paid up member..
