Using your logic we'd have to cancel any meeting that falls on the GP weekend, Bathurst, etc, etc. The fact is that the easter long weekend (and most long weekends) are poorly attended. And considering that the interclub is being run at the same track on the following weekend, it doesn't make sense to run a meeting for a handful of racers.

Well done, by the way, to the "real R/C fans" who headed over to Perth for the Nats this weekend. Top effort by Foord and Glenn to come within a whisker of making the Main.

Well had a great days racing today. Trying to beat Sam the whole time but then getting beaten every single time.
I learnt a lesson also. Always listen to your pit person. If they say come in on this lap you probably should.
Thanks to Bart (my pit bitch) and all the committee members that were there today.

Hi Guys. First off, big thanks to MV guys for solving out timing system issues. It is bizzare that you currently can not buy a KO system anywhere on the planet, so its awsome of the boys to bring theirs down. Track work is progressing well, with the stolen mountain growing a little larger than expected. Looks like we will have a mix of technical and speed sections. I am keen to get an idea on numbers so PM me if you can make it. Cheers

The first round is listed as the 19th of April so I'm going with that. The other rounds are listed as 18th of June in Whyalla and 17th of Dec back at MV on the results page of the club website, www.sdmcc.asn.au/

Cheers man, we both had some bad luck, we both had the pace to make the main, I was in a bump spot and in the last 30 seconds of my 30 minute semi a rock got caught in my flywheel and stopped the motor

Whats the chance ay

Shit happens, nats has given me some fire in the belly for racing again though, so bring on the rest of the season and 2010 Nats at MV

Trust tim to come race when the nats are on and me and bruegem are away

Hey Guys.

Thanks for all the support

Was a pretty good week and a bit for me... i ended up making the main at the at the warm up meet and i was on the pace to make the main all week... Shame to miss it by so little but there is always 2010

Track was pretty difficult to get a good rhythm going and it only took one mistake to go from a 45sec lap to a 47sec lap.... so little room for error...

Anyways will hopefully see you at the interclub.

Glenn
