Default Electric newbie albeit a 1/12th

Hello to Rob and to all 12th scale racers. Just bought a CRC ae and being delivered as we speak. I doubt I will be racing this first meet. Lots to learn coming from nitro but should be fun. The car is second hand so hopefully not too tweaked and comes with everything except a speedy. Looking at those viper vtx1. Is that a good one?

Cheers, Paul.

Good to hear Paul, yes they are different from Nitro cars, I look forward to seeing you trackside.

I do not know anyone personally who is running that speedy, but from what i can see after a quick search on here, is that it is a very respectable speedy, looks like you got yourself a score there Paul.

Forecast is looking good, currently cloudy top of 29 and only 30% chance of rain, all in all, i think things are looking quite ok. I still have to sort out a car and pack all my crap. One more sleep, I think i can manage that

So, where is a good rollout to start with? Running a 12r5.2 with a R10 speedy and Reedy Mk2 10.5t.

Have everything I need to come for a run tomorrow, except permission

I would start about 70mm and work up from there Terry So are you coming tomorrow to race 12th scale?

Somewhere between 70 and 80 is where most people are, where depends on how you drive i guess and how hot your motor gets

Special guest appearance, Clinton Livingstone will be driving my 2nd car. He might not have raced in the last year, but he has the skills to do well and might just take the race to Clayton, Johnny, Tim and Graham.
