Thanks Graham... I have to leave here about 6 so I'll have to be pretty decisive about it.

Also, just noticed that TOP Racing Australia has Solaris 1/12 tyres - anyone have any experience with them?

Just had a run at Logan Radio Control Car Club with the 12th scale. Considering the track was not gooped, there was consistent grip. The track is very well suited to this class. Round 2 of the tour is going to be really good there.

It all depends on how PRO you want to attack it. I could run 1 set of tires all day and play with ride heights and gearing or I could use 2 or 3 sets of tires and change nothing, then make 1 set of changes and use those tires again next time out. Plus that is tires for 2 cars not one

Best thing you can do is PM Graham with your mobile number and have him call you as early as he can on the day if it is going to be a rain out. Long range forcast is looking ok I think , http://www.bom.gov.au/qld/forecasts/caloundra.shtml

Default Rain Contingency

Rain Contingency

In the event of round 1 of the SEQ 12th scale tour this Sunday 26th of Jan being rained out, the round will be rescheduled to the 9th of Feb.

The way the tour has been designed, is so that each round is held at a clubs regular club meeting and the 9th of Feb is the next club meeting at Landsbrough.

Cheers all,

Rob.

Hey Ray, run SSF as well brother. It's always good to get some more gun drivers in the support class.

I thought about it, and then decided that it is too much work running 2 classes I think Richard Chun will run both. And if Tommi Chun, Terry Langham and Trevor Kerr all run SSF, you should have a fair bit of competition

Such a shame Trev, was waning to have an older more experience head at my pit table to pick and glean all your secrets from. Mr Cullen does not know this yet, but he has just been promoted to Team Driver at Potato Head Racing What say you Graeme? Up for it? Or should i put Tommy in the seat

Put Tommy in the seat brother. I'm sure 2wd car would open his eyes.

Excellent Richard, I know with my motor I can do medium rare Rump steak and eggs over easy. I hoping to get to a nice temp where I can do roast Pork with crackling. I'm sure with the new gearing I'm going to try anything is possible.
