anyone up for 12th scale? i'm wondering if people would be keen to run them, if race control allows us, and there is enough time? im not sure if i can make it 100% but i'd be keen to dust of the 12th. i haven't raced it for a while with summer, increased sun time, the grip might be pritty good.

Default CC

Just a reminder that the first round of Challenge Cup is this weekend at Lithgow and the SMA contingent is very strong.

Details as to how to get there can be found on;

http://www.lithgowrccarclub.com/

Look on the menu on the left side and click on 'Find Us'.

A few of us will be commuting on Saturday morning to get in some well needed practice and should be arriving at around midday.

We're going up Sunday morning, so one and a half sleeps for us.

Found the problem we were having with the Xray on Sunday - the servo arm was jumping on the spline throwing the trim out. Replced the Hitec servo with a Futaba to fix the problem - I think I'll give up on Hitec.

Hey Nick, I got some Trinity Komodo Dragon 19T SPEC PRO MOTOR in stock. Do you still want one? If so, I can have Darren take one up there for you. Let me know ASAP as he is coming here to the shop soon.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Have any of you guys raced at Lithgow before? I've heard that we may need to raise the ride height - any set up tips??

Last time i was there i raised the ride height, but it was my first ever non-club meet, and i was an even more crappier driver than i am now

The track looked pretty bad but seemed to drive ok. Maybe best to raise it just a touch but it should be OK.

Thanks Martin - I'll take it up a mm and leave the rest as per SMA. It's our first non-SMA race meet, in fact the first time at a track other than SMA

Good luck guys, do your best!!! Plenty of time between rounds, so make sure your cars will go the whole 5 minutes. Get out there and have fun.

Good to see you've seen the light.

Futaba is my brand of choice, so how the hell did a KO PROPO find its way into the T2?

Futaba 2.4 GHz all the way . . .

Wishing all the SMA team the best of luck at Lithgow. Go Team SMA!

I will be lunching with my beautiful Wife as we celebrate a Birthday. TJ, please set next years dates around my social life please, I'd rather go racing.

Cheers,
