Don't knock my MTX-3 until you try it, my mugen was dialled, not far off larrymore's mtx-4, i don't know what more you could want ...oh wait... a serpent!!

In all seriousness, i was stunned by how the serpent drove, it turned on a dime and the grip was unbelievable, the clutch is set up a little differently to a mugen, but the car overall was absolutly amazing, i can't wait to try a 720!! I have nothing but praise for the 710 at the moment

Good to see some excellent competition in the nitro's, going to be a tough year of racing. Does anyone know what the lap record is for the current track setup?

the track, although it may be the same "layout", it changes a little every race meet. you can judge roughly from previous times but it isn't a strong indication. corners in certain areas can be wider, or narrower or more angled. it may look the same but over a lap each corner might add or subtract a fraction of an amount of time which means the track can end up being slower or quicker.

i'd recomend looking at overall laps, as opposed to individual laps for SMA. from memory a quick time is 25 laps or there abouts, depending on the track it could be as much as 1 lap more or less on the day. (this is from last years sunday layouts im talking about )
