Now theres an announcment that nearly flew under the radar!
Craig who? ;) thought you would have picked a driver with talent and potential....like ...oooo...me :p Is that the official word then, CL is the new GO Engine Factory backed driver ? DN |
Mister MM,
Are you guys bringing in the .25 6 port? Seems to me like it might be a fantastic compromise for truggies. A lot of drivers seem to be going back to a .21 for economy and driveability as the .28 is just too much for most. However, there's no escaping the fact truggies are a little heavier. Could the .25 be the answer? Cheers, Clint |

Mark i tried the other thread for GO engines but no-one helped out so here i am.
I currently use Mugen carbon shoes with 1mm springs and sometimes 1.1mm but after engaging the power isn't instantly there. It needs 2-3meters in order for it to pick up power. Is there a way to increase that bottom end.I need to know whether the 9mm venturi or nothing at all will improve bottom end power on the 3 spec R engine? Should i use a hot plug with it? Temps are around the same as in Australia here in Cyprus...HOT HOT HOT. |
Hey Chris
There are a number of reasons why this would happen. firstly the engine as it stands has awesome zippy bottom end so i think the problem may be in your fuel delivery. The reason why the engine does this is because there is no fuel till it gets the carb open ... Reasons for this are Incorrect tune Incorrect Pipe Faulty carb Obstructed HSN Fuel filter blockage or leak Pressure line leak or incorrect length Fuel line leak Leaking pipe seals Pressure leak in tank Question, when you tuned the engine did you start with the HSN ? then go to the bottom ? if so you may have an over compensated adjustment that causes this to happen ... I would start from scratch on your tune 1/2 turn in from flush HSN and LSN , then check all pressure lines and leaks , bypass your fuel filter . Let me know how you go with this ok Cheers MM www.massivemods.com |
Great debut results.......
Hey All,
I see that in his debut race meet as GO Engine Factory driver Craig managed to set the best Qual run in truggy and ended up qualifying 2nd using a GO 21 5 port. And in Buggy he ended up qualifying 4th with a GO 21 3 port. :tire::tire::tire: It was a shame that both his Mains came to an early end with car troubles (blown shock on his buggy, and fuel-line leak on his truggy) And while he was sitting 3rd in buggy and 2nd in truggy !! Lets hope he can make the QLD meet, can't wait to see some more results. Well done Craig  Cheers DN |
Yeah he was doing great but thats racing , anything can happen. Looking forward to seeing him race in QLD !
