COBRARACING 06-19-2008 02:27 AM

not taking sides here nor for brad or mark but the truth is the truth Go Engine TQ the truggy with Craig laughton at the wheel of his hot bodies truggy .

Yes there was an issue about the TQ but i was there in the end when Peter cooper said that the real TQ was with craig and Go Engines.

The truth is the truth and from me thats the only thing you will get .

But to be honest both Axe and Go engines deserve both the TQ as both engines worked very nicely throughout the weekend .

I run a buggy and are starting to look for a fresh motor as i like to carry a spare . I ran the QLD titles and noticed a lot of GO's and they had plenty punch . What motor and pipe would be recommended for a buggy and why ?

Sorry Angelo that was an error from Peter . Justin was TQ and has the trophy after Peter explained to Craig that they finished equal on points and Justin had the next best result. All the Disqualifications for pitlane and marshalling infringements caused the confusion .. :)
He did start as no1 in the final but that is not top qualifyer...

official results are here http://dnn.slyfoxrmt.com/EventResult...4/Default.aspx

hard question to answer , they are all great . generally the 3 port for short track, 5 port for medium and 7 port for long .. Pipe combo however will change that slightly so its a hard one to answer . Im leaning towards the 7 port with Go Femca 8081 pipe combo.

OK my mistake , but my understanding is 1st starting place for A Main is given to TQ ... of which Craig got ..
and Craig got 3 wins and a second in quals .. compared to Justins 2 wins and 2 seconds ... So what was it that tipped it to Justin ? ........

can anyone hear crickets in the back ground ?

i have ran both the 5 port and 3 port in my buggy both were really good i thought the 5 port was a little more consistent but am going to run the 3 port on club days to try get a bit more fuel economy thinking i can get 10mins from this engine.

both engines dont lack any power to anything esle on the track and have been reliable at each meet ive been to.

Howdy All

I ran a Modded Go.28 pro in my Mugen Truggy at the last SDMCC meet here in Adelaide. After running a Go 5P all season it was a real eye opener. These things are ball tearers, huge amounts of torque and top end similar to the 7P IMO! With the set up below I was using the same pit stratagey as the .21 5P-:

7.5mm carb restrictor
RB .28 pipe
LRP No.6 plug
Running HB444

Mark, can you get a turbo button for the Go 28?

MassiveMods 06-23-2008 06:10 PM

YES we can ! will be in stock in 2 weeks .
