all i have to say atm, is, they are a great bunch of engines and can keep up with other engines like RB,Novarossi...

saw one of the OCM guys run the 5port in and it went real well, for a engine thats still fresh.

already showing good performance.

makes me think about selling my AXE Cobra. :)

Andrew Barr 01-08-2008 10:51 PM

Got one for my buggy and it is "GOLD"

MassiveMods 01-09-2008 01:26 PM

The 5 port is very popular . The supprise tho is the .28 3 port Big Blocks .. People are really loving the performance , very raspy engine .

We are testing the new 3 port .21 R Spec .. wow top engine !

Stoogey 01-09-2008 03:58 PM

Massive, do go tech plan on making any .12/.15 engines for 1/10 vehicles??

MassiveMods 01-09-2008 05:06 PM

They Do make a .15 size engine , Not sure if and when they will bring out a .12

MassiveMods 01-13-2008 04:02 PM

I asked the factory , no plans for a .12 at this time ...

DirtRacer 01-15-2008 08:59 PM

Hi MM is the New 3pt available to order from your page?

grizz1 01-15-2008 10:16 PM

Hi Mark, It's nice to have a thread for us "Down Under" Go Techer's.
My two 5 ports are running sweet as !! That turbo head button and LRP #6 Turbo plugs I got from you work a treat too. The difference with the turbo head fitted was really noticable. More power and a much sharper throttle response throughout the range (plus this engine is barely run in, so more power to come in the future I'm thinking ).
Also I would like to endorse the MM treated clutch bearings. These are the longest lasting clutch bearings I have used, very impressed. Cheers, grizz1

DirtRacer 01-16-2008 12:00 AM

i just got mine not long ago, hope to try them soon under race cond., how long did they last for you? Grizz1

Hi DirtRacer, I am still on the first set of bearings I fitted so I can't give you a time frame as yet. My truggy is pretty hard on clutch bearings (maybe it's my driving !!) and I was changing them after maybe 5 tanks of racing. I tried several brands but they all seemed to get pretty scratchy and/or start to come apart after this time. I have done one race meeting of 3 x 5 min heats and a 20 min final, plus some thrashing around home on the MM bearings and they still feel like new. No play in the clutch bell either. I also fitted a set to my buggy with a brand new Go Tech 5 port for run in. I am up to 13 tanks of stop start figure of 8's which is pretty hard on clutches and again the bearings still feel like new. I am relatively new to this game so I don't really know how long a set of clutch bearings is meant to last. Depends on how hard you drive it and how much dust etc you are in I guess, but going on my limited experiance I can safely say that the MM bearings are lasting much longer than the others I have tried for sure :)

DirtRacer 01-16-2008 12:40 AM

thats awsum!, ive used bearing from Ultrahobbies with red seals and they didnt last me more than 2 runs, koo thanks.

have you tried the MM H3 444 Fuel? , if so what would you say comparing to the fuel you are useing atm?

Cheers Shane ! got your order for the Turbo plugs , leaving today ! Those bearings are sweet man .. Ive never come across a bearing that lasts as long ! One of the secret to them lasting so long is that they are treated with my MRI oil .. it reduces wear on moving parts by about 50% ... its amazing stuff !

GOOD NEWS FOLKS !!

Team RC Hobby Zone 's first day back in racing in SA takes out Truggy 1st and TQ !!!

Team Driver " Deano " Was running the Go .28 Pro 6 port with our new A Main blend of Go Go Juice !!! great start to the year for Go and A Main thanks to RC Hobby Zones awesome race team !

The Go .28 only had 4 tanks of run in before it was thrown onto the track and raced . It Proved to be reliable with power on tap and as usual 0 Flame outs !

as a point of interest, in MT a GO 21 5 port got TQ and overall 1st, and in Buggy a GO 21 5 port got TQ and overall win !!

This is a very convincing statement for the Go engine quality !

if you havent got one yet , what are you waiting for !

MASSIVE MODS !!!

what price are the go .21 5 ports with a turbo head already fitted? Also do you have to run go plugs in the turbo head or can you use others?

MassiveMods 02-05-2008 02:16 PM

Go 5 Port Turbo is $269.00 shipped over night express . No you can use whatever plug you like , we recommned the LRP #6

Cheers M:)

GO Pipes

Hey Guys,

See you can get a GO pipe now.

Whats the benefit of getting this pipe, how does it perform compared to say an LRP?

PS

MassiveMods 02-07-2008 02:02 PM

Both are awesome pipes . The LRP is snappy , responsive , suits teckkky tracks , the 2047 is a little smoother with more top end, better economy too but a littl ebit . If i had to chose id be having to take both ..:D

what would the price be with a pipe as well and what run time are you looking at in a truggy and a buggy?

MassiveMods 02-09-2008 07:06 PM

Depends on the pipe, fuel and surface you run on but id average safe tank time on clay in buggy would be from 8 to 11 mins Truggy 9 to 11 mins Grass about 9 mins on each ..

for combo prices please e mail me [email protected]

MT Go 5 port TQ
Truggy GO 7 port TQ 1st
Buggy GO 21 5 port TQ 1st :tire:
