They break where they open up to fit the ball and pin.
I also run 540 class and have not had a single problem with that car (another E4)
Motor is 4.5LRP and I have tried spool and one way if you rev the car on the ground and turn full lock you will see the front wheels shuddering (But even the Xray does this with a spool) I even turned my steering down to 40% so there was not much lock and it still broke

I ran stock at the New Zealand racing lines meeting on the weekend and finished 3rd. The car is awsome on the corners I just need to sort out gearing etc for a little more speed.

[QUOTE=NZHobbies;4068015]Help
I have broken 7 front UJ's
What am I doing wrong

Car is mint handles well lots of grip but I need to fix these front Uj's[/QUOTE

Make sure you always have your UJ's well greased. I do this to my car and am yet to brake one. Also run alittle grease where the diff outdrive and the drive shaft connect, this may help.

First race for the new car but was cut short due to the rain.

Found the stock springs are def on the soft side for the logan track but overall box setup was great.

14 lapper first run out and ill pick up the spring set this week for next meet.

Geared at 78/23 48p running 4200 intell batts.

Very impressed and looking forward to next meeting

Juzzie.

Does anyone know if the foam spec car has been released here yet? If so do any shops have them available.

Just finished building my E4, and the only problems were the little grub screws(too much loctite from the factory I think) and when the diff was finished I wasn't happy with it.

But it won't come back apart. I first thought it was the driver slopping (although I got the Team Magic Drivers to build it) so I slotted the head to get a screw dirver onto it, but it is just spinning, I can't tighten or loosen it.

Apart from that, the car went together so easily it was amazing. Can't wait to find out what the diff problem is and run it now.

If anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

I built a E4 up for the shop, and well to put it easy, made a stupid mistake when i put it together. Anyway from what you are explaining it sounds like the Lock nut is turning in the Plastic T Nut (i think that is what its called? Ari can u give a better definition).. It was my fualt i overtightened the diff and when i tried to loosed it i noticed the nut was just turning over, that and i forgot to build the thrust bearing correctly (forgot to put the the shims on either side )

Anyway one of the boys working at the shop ended up buying one. I have only had a few quick spins of the car, but it is very nice. Great steering although stock set up i found it would push slightly mid corner (although the driver did remove the plastic cross brace for some reason) i think it gave to much flex. I had to slow right down mid corner, but found entry and exit to be great. Also the way the car take off is amazing. Perfectly straight, and so smooth and precise.

Has made me think seriously about trading in my T2 008 for one of these bad boys

Got my LHS to ask, and it hasn't been release in Oz yet, the only 2 places I know that have them is Team Magic's own online store and a shop in the US.

Is the spring set from the G4 the same size as the E4? The springs are much shorter than the others I have (Associated, Xray and Tamiya) and I just wanted to be sure before I order them.

The G4 spring set works with the E4... I think quite a few people are using that spring set with them now
