Team Magic E4

The Team Magic E4 has arrived and was wondering if anyone has tried one yet? The price looks good at $550.00 AUD and so does the design.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

I hope so...he does have a shop...generally shops sell things.

cannon 10-30-2007 03:32 PM

True BK ... but the rules say you have to have your own thread to advertise :D:D:D and that costs money

Saint728 10-30-2007 03:49 PM

No one is advertising, I'm wondering how the car is. I'm not going to buy something unless I know how it is first. So if you don't have any input on how the car drives, don't write anything here.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

oooohhh ..... touched a nerve :D

I doubt if anyone has had the chance to test yet as they have only just arrived.

They are relatively chaep overseas as well.

The 3 belt drive train will be the big test to see if it can be made free enough

Pic of car E4 attached.. should be a well balanced chassis for 5 cell mod.

Saint728 10-30-2007 04:00 PM

They have been out for more then two weeks in the rest of the world, so I figure someone had to have ordered one and tried it?

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Besercoe 10-30-2007 04:01 PM

No doubt it will perform well in the hands of Bakalala and Jake, both of em are freaks with a transmitter, i remember Jake slapping all and sundry with a CEN back in the day at Castle Hill

Though looks like Magic are already having some problems, their US arm recently dropped them as an outlet.

cannon 10-30-2007 04:07 PM

Yeah the support issue in the USA seems very strange. They actually seem to be dropping their own distributor .:eek:

Dont think this will apply in Australia.

As for testing, the US guys have the car but no one has seemed to have put it on the track yet

black-knight 10-30-2007 04:22 PM

Who ordered the #69 Besercoe/Cannon short brain combination soup?

cannon 10-30-2007 04:28 PM

Same person who ordered the HEI propoganda dish :lol::lol:

Exploded view of the E4, gives a good insight into the kits design and construction.

I think the packaging cost more than the chassis, very neat and tidy (NICE!), chassis comes half built, bottom deck, bulkhead and top deck are all done (see photo)

CVD is also built (screwless, 2 pins lock everything in place). Steering looks good with about 10 thousand bearings ;) It shouldn't take long to put that lot together.

Hope to have mine running by next week.

No way.... If that chassis is balanced with 6cell brushed, it will be very heavy on electronics side with 5cell brushless. This will be a chassis that requires the speedy to be oposite its normal position to even out.
