just got my mamba max back from its 'winter cleaning' and lemme just say that the 'N' brand woulda charged me 75bux for the service that this setup got. i even tried to supply them with a new rx connector which is what i sent it in for, but they returned it to me and told me to keep it lol.
thx again, 1 more reason that my m18 wont use anythin else again.

i have a mamba max sittin in my box because the servo lead wire ripped off and this little peice fell off the bottom. it was a black box it looked like a diode or voltage regulater or something. anyways.
joe if you could pm me a repair price. that would be great. i will also need a case.
the esc is fine just those wires and that little peice came off

My XXX-T is currently geared 15/88. I'll try gearing up with a 19T pinion size. Thanks.

It means that with the new sensored speedo will be able to run sensored AND sensorless motors? It would be great. But i can tell you that from the day they released the v3.04 im running a GM Evo III 7T delta and an ORION Vortex 2008 3T without any problem.Very smooth almost like the CM36 motors.

I will say for over a year now my Castle Sidewinders and MMM have worked great. I been running the 4600kv motor for over a year on the same motor running offroad and it works just like when I first got it.

Had my MM for about around 2yrs now. Never missed a beat, ive fried 2 CM36 motors though, they're great motors, but they just didnt suit the climate i live in. On another note, ive been running a vortex 7.5 with the MM, awesome combo, fried a front bearing on the motor, just fell apart due to heat. but now i have it geared correctly (had it geared to high), runs silky smooth & alot cooler. I could do with a bit more power though. looking into a new trinity pulse 8.5 or 7.5 motor when they're released.
But yeah, i swear by castle products. Im about to purchase a Traxxas slash, my mate is also getting one. the only combo thats going into my slash is a sidewinder 4600kv combo, nothing else in my opinion!!

Stopping in to see whats going on. Winter time racing is starting to pickup at are indoor offroad track and lots of Castle products are showing up. Even had a 1/8th electric buggy using the MM. Damn that thing is tough. He did have a fan on it and has no problems as he keeps the temps down so he knows he really shouldn't use it but was impressed how it holds up for him.

Team driver Aaron Wilson laid it down in his Castle powered mod buggy and mod truck at the 2008 East Coast Mini Championships. I know he won 3 classes that I know of but I need to talk to him and get the low down.
I like to say congrats to my buddy for his great weekend. He is one of the nicest guys around and glad to see him do so well. He is a great asset to Team Castle Creations. He is a relentless promoter of the products and helps all others with and without Castle products. Great sportsmanship all the way around for a class act.
