I run 1M on a medium bite clay track... and honestly, I doubt I'll change it. I don't have any issues with it, and I don't think going less will solve my problems. I know of another driver running 100K or 60K in his center diff, but I think that's ridiculously low.

My understanding from way back when running an NT1, where we ran 150K and 60K diffs was that the smaller diffs needed thicker fluid due to less rotating mass, especially when we started to use composite gears within the diffs.

Hi Bent, you mentioned in the XB2 thread you run ECS driveshaft's on the XB4. 68mm in rear like the XB2 What ones do you use in front? Thanks for all the great info in this thread. Have learned a lot!

Wow, just ran today with Coelho's world setup on high bite clay and it's excellent, like driving a plush touring car.

We usually run 1.0, 1.1 or 1.2 in low traction conditions.

For medium traction we go as "high" as 1.4mm.

Look at the swaybars as a tool that help you run the suspension softer and more plush yet keeping it stable enough to push and go harder in the corners and higher traction parts of the track

Hi,
i read that lots of you guys had problems with shock leaking (from the bottom, not the cup) but i couldn't find any solution.
do you have an idea how to solve it? i am sick of that...

If you build them correctly there are no issues.

Soak the o-rings in the shock oil before assembly.

Loosen the shock bottom cap before screwing the shock shaft through the o-rings.

Do NOT push the shock shaft through the o-rings as this will damage them.

I have a '13 car and I have never had issue with the shocks even though I've heard about it since the beginning of the thread. I'm not sure why some do or don't but mine are good and I build them just like all shocks. Take your time, be sure not to tear the O-rings and don't over tighten anything.
