You could try and sell the other ones since you don't need back ups. All you needed were the 1.5's and a 1.6mm drill bit to drill out a set.
You could also get a 1.7mm bit and drill out a set of pistons so you have a variety.
In my car I'm running 1.6 and 1.7's and it made a huge difference over the stock pistons

or just froogle: 1.7mm drill bit and buy the 1 bit for around $3.00 (metric bits are not popular in my area so I had to order online)
and yes you are corrected. Front 1.6 with 40wt losi and Rear 1.7 with 32.5wt losi
(of course different tracks and temperatures play a part of it but its a starting point for you)

So it looks like the 2014 will be:
- tad bit wider
- new slipper clutch
- new rear diff bulkhead probably for more strength
- different composite chassis piece
- arms that have the option to run a carbon fiber piece for less flex, similar to the new t4 and xb9
- updated shock towers
Funny to not see any new top deck like the team has been running. It also doesn't look like they've changed the layout too much for the 2wd unless that's the other composite chassis.

only one new Diff Bulkhead Block? is the rear the same as front?
though they would release both new ones, tigther on the bearings to prevent diff breakage.

based on your racing experience with the XB4 what are the upgrades from the 2014 that were really needed on the 2013?
#3195
This shows the new features in more detail, and now makes my list of parts clearer: http://www.teamxray.com/xb4/
for upgraders, looks like the new wishbones front and rear, and optional (to 2014 kit) parts, like the new rear suspension hangers for low traction, optional brass rear weights, and maybe the new slipper bits (I had no issue with the old one?). The split chassis mod, I've done that already for the ralls racing under gearbox weight. no need to buy a new chassis piece for that, only other difference is two holes for mounting rear weights. A drill and counter-sink can sort that ;-)
It doesn't look to me like a lot has changed, lots of the listed changes were v2 parts or running changes anyway, shock o-rings, bevel gears, v2 diff outdrives, etc.
Very interested to try the new 2mm offset wishbones for weight shift. Also rear wishbones are redesigned to allow for front and rear shock mounting. I suspect this option will be a feature of the 2wd car.
I'll keep mine and buy a few of the upgraded bits. Hopefully this will help with rear traction on low grip tracks.
