There's some serious modification there....that's a VoneR 2 speed adapted to fit on the VoneS shaft...

very nicely done too...

the VoneR 2 speed is far better than the standard VoneS 2 speed.

The VoneS 2 speed is perhaps the single worst thing about this car.

Default please help me!!!!!

Ive been racing my V one S for a while now, and i finally struck a problem with myS.
Ive recenly replaced the bearings in the motor and i went out to practise and tune the engine today and the motor kept on flaming out the glow plug is near new and still provides a very good glow but after one lap of the track the engine cuts out.. It sounds like its running out of fuel just before it dies, the motor is running cool (about 180 f )but the performance is very strong!! Please help me before i get pissed off and break the car.

When does it die ?? When you brake or even when you give it some throttle

The engine runs fine for about 30 seconds then it cuts out when its trying to get into its mid range power band!! it sound like its starving for fuel!!!! Ive never had a problem with my engine till today!! Could the back pressure hose from the pipe to the tank be too long?

I also have the after market blue head thats why my engine runs cool and the weather is cold.

I do know how to tune the motor and i follow the tips by Ron Paris.

This mite be a stupid question but can you cut the SG shaft so it will fit in the S?

Hank:
Is there any oil leaking from the engine?? Check under the flywheel.
Is it hard to start after that ?

GP doctor,
Can you please share with us on how to assemble this high performance 2 speed gear. If possible give us the list of all the parts needed for the change. To me this is the best upgrade needed for V1S. I'm sure your effort will be much appreciated by most of our forum members here. Thanks.

A guy i know that races at our Penrith track has a friend who has done this conversion. Although he had to custom make new shafts to make it work.

I would be good if someone brought this out as a kit, i'd pay $200 for it! with the amount of gearing possibilities, ability to use more powerful engines and not strip gears, no plastic housing and pins breaking to worry about, i think most people would too.

but, ive given up for now, ive sold my v-one s, radio gear, parts, everything and bought a bike (real bike!). so im taking a nice long holiday from racing.
