Can anyone tell me who stocks the Jaad Racing diff seals? I have a set on my car now and they are working great, want to get some more for my X kits.

Hi guys,

I have a GTB 3.5 system that I installed in the car. Novak recommends a final drive ratio of 10+. Right now the smallest pinion I have for the 105T is a 26T which puts me at 8.5.

I do have a 112T 0.4 spur (from TA04 / TRF414) and was wondering if any one has tried it and if it will fit?

Default spurs for 17.5

Hi, I'm a off road guy about to jump into onroad, and I want to start off with the best kit, 416x.

I know nothing about roll-out, but Im going to start racing stock, which is 17.5 where I will be racing.

I need to know a few things before I place my order, as where I live I cannot get to a hobby shop, and do most of my ordering online.

What size spurs do I need?

What size pinions do I need?

48p or 64p?

sorry for the noob questions.

any help would be greatly appreciated, so I can order all in one hit.

Are you going to run rubber or foam? Carpet or asphalt? Which speed control will you be running? Inside on carpet most run 64p, something like 94 to 100 in increments of 2 for the spurs and anywhere from 38 to 50 for pinions, but that really depends on the size of the track, and you can probably narrow that range down. If you already have 48p from your offroad stuff that will work just as good, just not as fine FDR available. Give us some more info and we can narrow it down for you more.

Never going to do business with them again.. Ordered 10 pairs of Sorex tires, received one, no reply to email or messages. When I did a chargeback on my card I got a threatening letter from them saying to cancel it.

did bit of research, apparently at that track guys are running from 3.3-3.5 for 17.5 stock.

and the 416 has an internal ratio of 2.055 from what I looked up.

so is there anything preventing me from using a 48p, 60t spur and 35t pinion?

I know with my offroad car I cannot use 60/35 because my motor will hit the gearbox.

and you guys use kimbrough or robinson spurs with a 3/8" hole ? I have some from my offroad.

having trouble fitting my ta05 steel spool outdrives to the 416x... the outdrives seem to sit a bit farther out compared to the stock composite ones. anyone have tips on how to retrofit the steel outdrives?

It will depend on what speedi you are planning on running
cause with the new ones ppl are running 4.5 or lower

I run a tekin and I'm currently running 4.7 but with the new
sw that may go into the 5s

So go to your local track and have a look and talk to the
guys running stock most will tell ya wait there running

maybe the 3.3-3.5 was for a normal esc.

4.5 sounds better, im running team wave, most likely a tekin by the end of the month.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I will start around 5, and work from there.
