The setup I ran on my stock foam car was as far as I know what Shreffler was running on his car. I got it from him and for not having ever run foam on carpet it was pretty easy to drive and got me the win in the G stock foam main. I probably could have run faster but was having breakage issues earlier in the week in practice as well as qualifying. So to say the least I was a little tentative to really push the issue on getting more speed out of it.

Setup I ran on my rubber car also came from Schreffler and all I did there was change to the JR link and run a oneway. It was running pretty well also but I ran rather safe in that car. I had issues with the PRS spurs in that I stripped three of the over the week and I am seriously thinking about going back to the stock spurs to avoid this isssue anymore.

Jason's car looked phenominal and both races he was in was his races if not for his mishap.

Did you guys forget about Brian Lutz putting his type R in the A in stock foam? The guy busts his ass for the team... makes the A and no one even mentions his name?

You do have a point, Brian did qual in the 8 spot, but had some bad luck in the main. Yea he is a great guy to work with....

Shreff's car was really good in both classes, you could tell him and Larry put in some major time...Mike and Andrews cars looked pretty good in mod, my car handeled great but i just couldn't put much of a run together, got to be the BQ.

All in all the team did real well considering how few guys were there.

Congrats to Larry F. Jason S. Mike H and Mike Dumas(winner 19turn) and others I missed for representing team Losi so well.

It's a damn shame that Losi doesn't have even more of these high caliber racers to represent such an awesome and still very unique sedan.

Way to go guys maybe the powers that run Losi will start to see the importance of a race team out there promoting the product.

Just my opinion of course.

Great job guys, seeing you do well with this car reassures us mere mortals that the only thing holding us back is ourselves. :-)

So the traction was too high there for the setups to translate to anything at the club level I gather? Did you guys learn anything new about the car that you can pass along?

Yeti, Its more the Oneway than the PRS. Since its heavyier it does move a little more on hard impact but in my case, even the stock spur strip with the oneway... I'm working on getting a bigger layshaft for my rubber/oneway car.

Anyone knows if the one from the JRX-S was any bigger? Does it fit?

Thanks

And congrats to the team who did a good job at Vegas. Was there any Losi in rubber A or B?

The layshaft on JRX-S is 4 mm. I'm sure they are the same as the spur gears fit both cars.

From the sounds of the race in round 4 of qualifying and in the A-Main Dumas had some bad luck. Sounds like his car was dialed.

What was the part that was breaking on the Type R in Vegas. From what I heard it was the a-arms?

The car looked good in all the classes all week long.

Later,
