Therein lies gearing recommendations for LRP's brushless motors. Looks like they suggest 9.5 for a small track TC.

Ok so 9.5 is the over all gearing I want. to stay in the ball park of.
I understand spur 105T/pinion 32T gearing like 105/32=3.281 ( Just an example )
but I don't have the car yet I have bought it all a week ago and my lhs does not have it in yet. What is the other gearing of the car so I can get this all figured out. and get a gear selection ordered.
I am use to diff gears like on an 1/8 buggy not belts I'm a bit lost when the belts and pully's get involved.
any help would be awsome
thanks in advance tony

I have two jrxs type r. It seems the rear belt like to park at the right which making the belt's teeth gone 1/3. Rubbing too much on the side of rear diff. What to know what can I do to have less rub on the side of diff?

Just weighed the R during a club meet.... 1549 grams....! Stock 27 motor, Spektrum SR3500 Rx, LRP Sphere ESC, Bluebird Servo, IB4200s, rubber tyres and a PF Mazda6 body...

I thought that was ok till a TC5 with a similar setup weighed 1456 grams all up!!!
