I also ordered the 5.5 mm and 9mm exotek 12mm hexes and de speedline 22-4
Wheels. Hope it all goes together without issue.
Thank you everyone for all the responses.
If you're talking about AKA, if it says EVO, it is 60mm/2.4"... otherwise, it is 2.2". For the most part EVO wheel needs EVO tire and visa versa unless using an EVO tire with standard wheel and the adapter kit, but I wouldn't even consider it at this point.

I'm using AKA wheels, TLR 22-4 in the front and the standard EVO wheel in the back with the +1.5mm and +0.75mm in the front.

Yeah I should have known that... brain fart. I realized that a couple years ago when I was running different brands, and one of the reasons I originally just ran the Avid wheels...

What springs will work on the XB4 besides the Xray springs? I've ran the center diff for a while now how should I set my slipper up to a 6.5?

Have any of you guys run this buggy on astro turf? During the winter months that's the only place open. Any tips would be appreciated.

Thank you

Set the car on the table, hold the rear wheels firm and punch the throttle.

You want the front shocks to extend about half way but not lift the front wheels from the table.

We usually run the slipper 1 - 0 mm from the loosest setting possible.

Having a hard time getting slipper to slip at all on hard packed dirt with med. to med. high traction. Any suggestions?

So ive been trying to dial my car in the past 2 days at the track, which is a medium bite hardpacked soil track, so far im running the kit setup as far as shock package goes, and have tried 8,60,8 for the diffs. I am after getting the rear of the car to be more locked in and the front to be a little less twitchy. I also noticed that I wanted more low speed steering for getting around the tight 180's as I would need to slide the car to get it pointed around the inside of the corner. The 7 up front helped with the low speed steering and I feel like the rear hasnt improved(although theoretically I may have gone backwards with the fluid to try and correct my issue?) I need to drill a set of pistons for 2x1.6 and 2x1.7 as I think that will soften the rear up as well as smooth out the front of the car. Any other suggestions? Thanks guys

Switch to 2x1.6 front and 2x1.7 pistons 37.5w front 30w rear. Rear link upper hole to on tower. Also 60k is too light for the center diff. Go back to the slipper or stay at 100k but I recommend at least 300k. Also try removing some chassis flex screws.

I will do as you suggest, keep the front and rear diffs at 7 and 5?

Yeah 7 5 should be good. Try the slipper set to 0mm (all the way loose) also. For the Ackerman run the front hole, that will smooth out the steering.
