If you are in the USA then I highly doubt you got the updated part. I haven't heard of anybody getting it yet, and your kit was probably packaged at least 2 weeks ago before it found it's way to an LHS. Just measure each insert hole from the screw hole, or post a pic as most of us can see it by eye. Or assemble it and you will probably notice it.
I can't figure out which side, though, it not correct.
To get equal toe on both sides, which side gets the 0, which side gets the .5, and which way does the .5 go?

I noticed on mine right away as soon as I took a picture (in's on the previous page) Hopefully the replacement part will be released soon. I'm racing my this weekend with the messed up rear toe though.

Ok guys I finally had time to take some measurements on the CMM with different combinations of inserts. I also measured the distance to the centerline of the mount insert pockets. It was worse than I originally thought. All measurements are to the centerline of the chassis. Here's what I found:
Inner hinge pin angles with 0 inserts:
Left 2.73 degrees
Right 3.60 degrees
Inner hinge pin angles with 0 insert right side and .5 insert out on left side:
Left 3.22 degrees
Right 3.60 degrees
Inner hinge pin angles 0 insert left side .5 in on right side:
Left 2.73 degrees
Right 3.08 degrees
Inner hinge pin angles 0 insert right side 1 insert out left side:
Left 3.69
Right 3.60
Centerline of chassis to centerline of insert mount pockets no inserts:
Left .9004"
Right .9280"
Offset of pockets to centerline of chassis:
.0138" towards right side.
I measured my mount at .010" offset with calipers, but looks like the holes in the case are also offset about .004" No bueno.

I am pretty positive your thinking on the X brace regarding part# 361173 being 2mm graphite front upper deck is correct. Just ordered one as well as the 3mm chassis from XRAY shop Austria. I Should soon receive a response to my email asking if indeed that part is the X brace.
Usually new parts the add to their site they either have or will have within 5 business days.

The closest to equal to requires a full 1 deg increase on the left side vs. the right with the inserts. I found 3.5 deg toe to feel better than 3 deg on a clay track, I went with both 1 deg in lower inner corners in RF, and 1 deg lower inner corner on back right, with 1 deg down in the middle on back left.

Pinion Fitment Problem
Okay guys, maybe I'm just up way too late building but I have run into a strange problem.
In order to line my pinion gear up to the spur, I need to move it a little bit down the shaft, closer to the motor.
Problem is, the motor cam (mount) prevents access to the pinion set screw. The pinion is also too large to allow the cam to slip over the pinion gear, so it needs to be in place first.
I'm sure that there's something simple I'm not seeing at this late hour, so I'm asking for some fresh eyes and ideas.
Here's a picture:
