oh yeah........the angle of the top arm is increased which will effect your camber so you might want to change your inboard camber setting to counter this if you dont like it.

Is there another wheel the TRG tires will fit on? I'd really, really like to try them

I dont suppose the wheels of the F103LM will work? they were released with tamiya rubbers, or are they the same size as the TRG's?

Hey junn, thanks for posting. Is the rear still wider than the front?
Looks like Zen has some donuts for the F104 now. There's a 40 front and a long-life less grippy unknown compound. There's also a 25 and 30 rear. Would be interesting to give some of those a go...

can you not fit the washer above the wishbone so it does not alter the camber but still lift the kingpin?

Not a problem, ive been a member of this forum for 5 years and ive finally been able to contribute something
thats a good idea too putting the spacer under the top clip.
I got prices from RC champ for those Zen tyres but one of the guys in the club gave me the Zen/F103 tyres to try as I was having a horrible time keeping the car from swapping ends. Im not sure what it would be like with F104/Zen rear tyres as opposed to the wide F103, theres no substitute for contact area
The back is definately wider than the front it measures 200mm across the rear tyres and 178mm across the front

I have got my old F102 out to run against the F104s. I've bought some premounted wheels and tyres by Zen RC from RCMart but they are one piece. The F102/3 wheels are two piece with the thrust bearing inside. Anyone know what i do with the thrust bearing please?

I'm thinking of making some new front spindles that would push the wheel out further, so the TRG wheel will clear the kingpin. Does anyone have an F104 and a TRG front wheel that could tell me how far the wheel would have to be pushed out to clear the kingpin? Based on the measurements given before, I could push each wheel 11mm and still have the front wheels be the same track width as the rear using rear TRG rubber tires.
