Default need help =(

Hi guys,

i've just recieved my D5 and went to take it apart to clean prior to break in. I had a problem. The conrod won't come out, it's not stuck or anything but the clearnce of the crankpin and crank case is not enough for me to slip the conrod off the crank pin. I've pushed the crank in as far as it will go but still i can't get the conrod off the crank. I've taken the piston liner out etc and still doens't work.

any suggestions, i know it's a stupid question but i'm a noob so it's ok

Noobatron, take the sleve out so the piston has more room to move, rotate the crank to about 3'oclock and the c/r should come off.

Sorry,I'm late.

1)Use a wide nylon cable tie to cross the conrod.
2)Pushed the crank to the end. (Pull in front)
3)Pull the nylon cable tie slowly and move the crankpin between 11~1 o'clock.

When you assemble them, don't forgrt to lubricate them first.

I read your previous post too quickly and thought you were speaking about another partner. Then when you said "he" my jaw dropped but once I worked out your coded posts I picked my jaw back up.

Does it make sense?

As for Data, yes I agree with you !
