from my experience, the 24t pully has much more even tire wear. but the 23t pully is faster (do not know the specifics as to why, but i get faster lap times with teh 23t pully--- i did numerous tests in qualifiers and compared the two). i run a 2mm split with the 23t pully. if you do not, after 8-9 minutes of driving, you will have smaller rear tires than front tires. 2mm split i have found to be perfect with the 23t pully.

Awesome thanks Joe and Ron! I found a used car that Ken from skyline told me about and it is the car he used to take the pics for the skyline site. Ron I called you but you never returned my call you punk!

i too run 2mm split. i also find that anything bigger than 57mm-59mm will adversely affect the handling of the car (well my car anyway). 55-57 works real good.

Buy running the RRR with so small diameter tires to start. With
a 2mm split. What is the ride height that you guys are starting
out with? what compound?
And i would like to know what's your tire wear is like?

My Track
Hey Joe
My track here is smooth but bumpy. I use 35 shore all around.
with split and without split. Ride height front 6mm and rear 7mm.
When i use 37 shore or 40 shore my car slides to much.
Those are the shores that i would like to use but i just cant seem to get it right. So i stay with 35s
Also i get tons of traction on and off power. Ive tried diffrent springs/oils and shock positions. Whats my problem?
I drive very hard and deep as i can into the hole with my car.
But there is no way i can do that with 37 or 40s.
So you must know my tire wear is bad when it comes to a
30 or 45min main. Ive lost lots of races because of this.

I do run on a different track in Taiwan. Smooth flowing but no VHT. At this track, 37 and 40 seems to work best. But aside from the tires, my 2 car setup is pretty similar. I use the kit spring (black front gold rear) but I have less toe in in the rear (as little as 1 degree). Shock oil depends on traction. I would run thicker oil (up tp 800) when traction is good and as thin as 400 otherwise.
