The GTX is a relatively high-end racing esc...I would be AMAZED if it has reverse capability.

In fact I just jumped to Novak's site...I was pretty sure it wouldn't have reverse, now I'm completely sure. The spec chart lists 7 programs for forward and zero for reverse and the GTX product description makes no mention of reverse nor does it show up in the "features" tables.

This was one of the sites I saw

http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/551720.asp

"Maximum Discrete Steps: 2600 (1300/Forward, 1300/Reverse) "

*sigh*

I own two GTX ESC's -- they do NOT have reverse! The GTX is a high end, BRUSHED ONLY ESC... Since it is a hard core racing ESC, they don't include reverse...

Aah...

I can't believe I overlooked this. Why does the hobby people site say it has reverse?

I am a racer who needs reverse

So I guess... I sell it now...

Mooshu,

Unfortunately GTX does NOT have reverse!

It is a forward/brake racing ESC!

I know I just explained what you already know to you, but i wanted to make sure you knew I knew I was setting it up correctly (hopefully).

I read that the GTX has reverse a few places, and am not sure why this one isn't working. It registers that the brake is on by the blinking green light. Is this a common problem?

Thanks a ton!

Thanks guys.

I basically vented my anger by sending an email to Hobby people .net, who say the ESC has "Maximum Discrete Steps: 2600 (1300/Forward, 1300/Reverse) " and that their description has false info.

This is an awesome ESC though... Incredibly smooth, not to mention powerful!

GTB 4-Cell Spread Spectrum question.

I run just 13.5 in my CRC 3.2 and since I replaced the SS Brushless with the GTB 4-Cell is there anything I can to do on the ESC to make my car faster. I did noticed the ESC cool compared to my old SS. So far I am keeping the ESC in profile 1. It seems more punchy than my dead SS but also smoother if roll onto the trigger. Motor Timing?, 1/12 cars are lighter weight and I guess I could crank a few degrees on the motor.
