I had this "problem" with the 5mm ones and the TC6.1 arms in combination with the VTEC CPX carpet tires. I could easily solve it by removing a little material from the inside of the rim, but was surprised...
I will try the 4mm hexes nevertheless because my TC6s can never have enough grip. I can even run them narrow on high grip carpet with CPX tires without rolling it.

It isn't, don't worry. It's just the bottom deck. You can always replace it with the new unit and the vertical stud mounts.

I just finished building my 6.1 yesterday. Are the parts listed for the chassis and studs?

Yes, they do. 5mm hex is the same as the standard hex.
Great, thanks for the info

Im sure one of the Team will be here soon with the Chassis part number

but studs have been around for a while now

31372 and 31373 for cap A and Cap B,
31374 and 31374 for long and short neck 3.25 ballstuds
31376 and 31377 for new F and R shock towers,

New shock towers are not needed existing ones can be cut down on a bench grinder rather neatly. I had spares so i did this and you cannot tell the difference.

#3 on the old towers is equal to V1 (outermost) hole, using a short neck ballstud, and no shims.
