I got a used CRC Carpet Knife pretty recently. I've raced it twice, and won the first time, and set TQ the 2nd, but the pack I was going to use in the main false peaked! D'OH!!! Anyways, I haven't got any other tires, springs, or tuning parts YET, planning on ordering lots of stuff this week. I was told that I should re-fill the side dampers. But, what do I fill them with? Ultra light weight shock oil???

Thanks for any help!

Well, my are almost empty and I think I was told a heavy grease like diff lube or Losi hydra drive fluids or trinity purple , red and white stuff greases work good.

ok. I've got the only Carpet Knife at the track right now. The only other 2 cars that've been there so far are Corally's. So, when other people get out there, I'll ask them what they're running for damper oil.

Jeff, I have a carpet knife and so does klic and Ryan Vanhorn. You probably haven't seen them because we havent been running them lately.

I have some Losi Hydro fluid if you want to try some.

Well then get out there! lol... Jimmy and Josh have been running Corally's, and since that's all that's been out there, I guess that's what I've gotta compare myself to.
