It looks like they got the rear roll center lower than a typical pivot-ball/link car: actually within the thickness of the main chassis.

I like the idea of simple design. Looks very similar to the Atom.

Schumacher please make an F1 car The Eclipse rear pod/suspension design would be fantastic on an F1 chassis.

On the fence about getting this car or a Yokomo, the video showed a nice breakdown of the features, but would really like to see some on track video.

Looking around some more and please someone correct me if I a wrong, but the front end is from the Kawada M300 FX3. Petitrc has some build tips for this front end on the M300 set-up page.

Spot on Patrick!

Those vertica damper tubes are on the front end of the Kawada M300. Neat little dampening feature, but fragile and broke often.

Hey Patrick,

Unfortunately I too won't be joining this years AOC. I couldn't get time off of work to make it happen. Next year will be a different story.

As for the Schumacher 1/12th, I like all the ideas, but I just worry about the front damper tubes getting damaged and the central damper tube dampening performance. Then again what do I know? I need get one in my hands to test out.

Ed,

Sucks about the AOC, now back to the car. I am still deciding between this and the Yok, both have features I like. looking forward to seeing more information about the car I think it will do well.
