i'm going to 5,6 and try also 5,8

than i'm going to try a tekin redline with 6,2
that motor has by far the lightest gearing.

here they drove with a spx and a Tekin redline 10.5T a speed of 48.2mh
This was with 5 cells.

with testing the spx and the Tekin RS the speed was the same just like the lap times.

Did you solder the + and - for the fans directly to the + and - terminals on the speedo? Is it that simple?

yeah,
the only disadvantage is as i can see, now i can not control the fans by the on off button of the speedo.
during the race, my friend who gave the pit should attach the battery and opens the speedo just 10 seconds before the race.

XP and Vista should both just open zip files directly... what happens when you double click on it?

20 smoke,

That sounds like the file is mis-named somehow... what is the exact file name of the zip file you're trying to open? You might need to unhide extensions (in XP, you'd go into "folder options" and click the "view" tab, then UNCHECK the "hide extensions for know file types" checkbox...) Vista should be something similar...

I have a feeling there's a hidden ".pdf" extension on the filename that you're not seeing...

It could also be that his file association for .zip got messed up and is now associated with Adobe.

The .zip file association in windows is goofed up. You need to associate .zip with a zip program. If you are using vista, you control file assocations in the control panel.
