Great day! Some of the best R/C Weather you can have. Hot track (130F), cool and dry breeze, warm sun. It was nice to see Tim and Mike down there today, made it a nicely social event

One of the most fun times was helping neil burn the rest of the foam off his wheels after the race ended. he achieved his goal, and I de-laminated my rears some with massive chunks flying off. But thats how it is

It was inspiring to have John drive my car and have him say "Wow this is way better than my car" So its official. I am good at building em... but suck at driving them

Had a good time using up the rest of those old foam tires. The only thing that sucks about it is that they had spoke wheels made it easy to adjust things. Hey Joe whats that link to the new kyosho site??

Well the R/C industry has been delt a massive blow today... My focus on the hobby may be changing.

I just bought a 2002 Ford Focus SVT So with that hobby back in play my R/C expenses need to drop off quite a bit. Shouldnt hurt too much as I already own just about anything I could need for R/C as far as tools go. But man am I going to have fun driving down to Monroe now Only sucks that the cost of that trip just went up wtih the gas it needs... oh well... in the imortal words of Hunter S Thompson - Buy the Ticket , Take the Ride.

Nice car man will you have it at the next race? The saturn wasnt doing much for you in the fun department. Going from a WRX to a saturn is kinda like being castrated. Oh and the Premium gas sticker shock will go away in time. I stopped looking at the price a long time ago. Now I just look at the little yellow sticker on the pump. 93 octane min and no ethanol. We will have to go down to Byron dragway sometime this summer if I ever get that Eclispe together. See you guys Saturday.

Yeh I hope so, if the bank gets stuff pushed through fast enough I will have it down there on Saturday I dont know how to drive a stick (last time I drove one was uhh when I was 16...) and since then I have forgotten most of what the hell I did. So it should be an interesting experiment just trying to get home from the dealership

I think i need to bust out the ole radar detector.
