No its Red, ( I dont really like red cars, but I take what I can get eh?)

and yes, its quite a nice car once I learn how to control it.

On a tight stretch of road that is just S bend after tight S bend, in my Saturn the fastest I could get it was 45mph and at that point it seemed like the car was going to come out from under me.

I ran it today, with my ratty ass shifting still (since I have drove stick a total of like 3 hours behind the weel now) and noticed the speedo pass 75 and the car had more grip still. the G loading and the lack of body roll was quite amazing. Stupid fun car is about the best way to sum it up

I'll take pics tonight.

Clegg....Make sure you have all the recalls taken care of with the car…there are a few depending on when your car was made. They like to do crazy things like just stall and not restart....and then the throttle body sensor can stick at speed. I was looking into getting one and once they came out there was nothing but horror stories associated with them, but this was with the early ones. PM Ray Huang from OH and ask him how he likes his. I had a focus 4dr when they first came out I liked the car but didn’t like putting new brake pads on every 12,000 miles for some reason that car just eats brakes. They are cool little cars enjoy it and there is a ton of stuff for them and relatively cheap too.

Gordon:

hehe no I cant, and even if I could I wouldnt want to. Tires are too expensive as it is. I prefer lateral G's more than just being pressed into my seat Normally both at the same time is what I go for

Losi:

Yeh funny thing about stuck throttle is thats what brakes are for, Brakes can ALWAYS overpower the engine (average cars have 400 - 800 Ftlbs of torque ( I think some BMW's have like 1200Ftlbs worth) worth of brake power... much more than the engine has)

I knew someone who had a stuck throttle and instead of hitting the brakes ot turning off the engine, he just kepd trying to get the gas pedal to respond. He ended up crashing through a garrage at the end of a street and ending up in the peoples back yard.... he was an idiot who was also racing in subur.. he got what he deserved.

But either way a stuck throttle is no fun at all.

Are you guys too young to remember the AUDI "unintented acceleration" debacle? Well, here's the short version, dipshits were pressing the gas instead of the brake. The pedals were closer together than most cars.

What was so funny about it was everybody had the same claim. "Well I hit the brake and it accelerated, then I hit the brake harder and it accelerated even harder". Uh huh.

I had one of those Audis in question. A 84' 4000s the gas never stuck on me. It was actaully a very nice car.

I just couldn't resist. Here's an old burnout video (not bad for a P166) from my '81 Civic. Notice how all 65hp go to the far wheel, nice smoke. Also notice the "posi" burnout marks from a previous attempt.

The thing that really burns me, is they always fricken re-pave the road about a week after a nice burnout!
