tedd,
thats kool..
by all meens you dont have to go brushless to be fast in off-road type racing...exspecially in mod.
i would say save yourself the funds and run brushed...i also use nimh batteries...the key advantage to lipo is longer run times...plus no battery maint.
i have a motor lathe a huge pile of brushes for your typical stand-up style mod motors.
if ya need your motor rebuilt i can do that for ya no problem.

hope to meet ya sometime.

matt

Tedd - Gixxerman was selling a couple of used lipos. I don't know if he still has them, but if you're interested send him a PM.

Sorry Ted, my bad, they're 'stick' packs. I dont have a B44 so I keep forgetting they need sadle packs.

I've been doing pretty much the same - a 1/10 scale 2wd guy stuck in a 1/8 scale 4wd world!

It seems like we just started the outdoor season and now there's only 2 weekends left.

tedd,
im the other way around...i like losi stuff....BUT-the b44 in my eyes is prolly the best 1/10 4wd buggy on the market.next out-door season im considering geting one myself.

Everyone assumes I'm an AE guy,but I actually try not to buy AE sfuff whenever I can. I ran a JConcepts BJ4 for the last 3 months and I'll be running my trusty Tamiya TA05 touring car this winter.

The only AE products I would recommend are the T4, GT2 and maybe the B44.
The RC8 is a nice buggy for the price, but, its not really that good compared to the competition.
