Hope to see as many 1/10 nitro sedans and 1/8 Nitro Open cars out this weekend as possible. It would be great to have enough 1/8 IGT cars out there for a race also.

Show up early with a clean car, and have Chris Metheny answer any setup questions you might have, then try it out on the track.

The studies on the track reconstruction are not yet complete. We will continue to host events for the GULF COAST RACERS until such time that the track owner (Mike) announces the beginning date. Hope to see you there and as Justin mentioned above, let's get some of you 1/8th IGT racers out there as well. We want to get this class going.

I know 4 drives, including myself, who are expected to show. Three of the other drivers are working on getting other racers. We will have wait for race day to see because some racers don't visit RC Tech.

We have not had a race in this class yet, it's a club race this weekend. I think this is pretty much an "open" class and not limited to just the Inferno GT chassis since I know some of the IGT users that have come to the Gulf Coast have other brands.

Come on down.... We are trying to get this class up and going and we need all of the 1/8 GT cars/drivers that we can get. Running under the light is a hoot . In order to get this clas up and going, we are not limiting it to IGT's only. We have a couple of guys that own the DM-1 and they will jump in this class as well. As I wrote in an email to one of the guys interested in this class, "the racers entered in the class will define the rules as the class evolves and more racers jump in. Jeff told me that he has one now and is very interested in getting to run in this class as well.

Juan mentioned earlier that he will be heading to Mississippi for the Pro Bass Series Race. Hopefully the next race he will come down to race with the GT Class.

Vadn1 is correct; I will be in Jackson, MS this coming weekend running in their Big Chill race. It is also their last series race and I am in the top three in points in 1/12th scale, IGT, and expert 200mm nitro. I will have to take a raincheck for this weekend but will try to catch a race before the track is redone.
