Talked to Jeff after finding out from some fellow racers that Sunday would be the better of the two days for the race (weather permitting), so it has been changed from Sat.8th to Sunday the 9th.

You know why many racers don't run the SWCS anymore. Seriously, if some needed changes by them would ever be done, then maybe more would come out to run. Just my $0.02 on that subject.

Maybe we all need to voice our O-pinion to what change we want them to make,because if these people who are in charge want it to survive to race another day they need to listen.

Many of us have been there and done that. You can't reason with someone that doesn't want to listen. The indifference to hear others out has been one of the many factors that has caused some not to participate in the SWCS. Herman can tell you, back in the day (2000), it was so many people running the SWCS that sometimes we only had one qualifying run because of the large amount of heats. I don't see it getting back to those numbers, but the number of participants could increase if many other factors, including the shedding of the indifference attitude, would happen. It is not fun when you are racing the same 10 to 20 guys all the time.
