It has been the plan the whole time, dating back to last summer. We normally dont get started racing til 6ish so you got time to get to the track.

Looking to start interst in the M05 stock class (bearings upgrade is allowed). Can be had for $170 out the door at your local hobby shops (including bearing upgrade).

New track design is perfect for this class!!! Come check it out.

I would love to see some RC part support at the track. Is there any talk about getting Goony's and a local shop getting together to supply the racers?

A captive audince that is willing to throw money around seems like a primed market ready for the taking...

Got a lot of stuff done last night. I feel like I didn't do much personally, but I do have a giant blister on my hand to prove I did somethin But with that said, In my honest opinion, Goonys is going to be one of if not the only premier outdoor Oval/Onroad tracks in East Tennessee. I take a lot of pride in knowing not only do I have a hand in helping build this track, but I also get to race there. Thanks for everyone that is making this possible (you know who you are). We can only hope this thing will grow just like the offroad track has. Get em ready fellas, this is gonna be an awesome season!!!!!!!

Need 3 guys on Wed April 17th late afternoon/evening to get the oval track done and ready for Saturday.

Please contact Lee Mathis or myself directly to let us know you are coming.

Please bring hammer drill, extention cords, and drill guns.

Counting on volunteers to make OVAL happen this Saturday. So please bump this thread.

No question your tallents are needed at Chilhowee, that Wed night electric thing is awesome. I'm sure Lee and the boys will be chomp'n at the bit to get it done.

Nitro thing is progressing along. I'm looking forward to trying the new layout at Goonies to see how they roll as the track will be much more accomodating to larger cars and heavier nitros. I'll test it and let you know.

Also, be on the look out for a large planned event at a local wide open site once the off road and Gonnies tracks are done. I'll keep you posted.

See you there, and bring tools if you can.

Impact drill, cords, and drill gun.

Need to get it done tonight, or Saturday before the race will be too close for my liking.
