The first On-road race of the season will be May 28. Racing will start at 11am, get there earlier for practice. Classes will include the following if we have the numbers.

This will be Memorial Day weekend, please let us know if that will be a issue.

Hi, recently moved to the Knoxville area and found this forum looking for info on Sir Goony's on road racing.

Is there a different forum/site where I can ask questions?

Not sure if this forum is active still.

I've gotten on the email list for rocck racing as well.

Basically, I have an older sprint 2 and was interesting in running VTA or GT (from the calendar on the rocck site it looks like VTA is the way to go), but am unsure if the chassis is legal, as it states in the USVTA rules that no pulley systems or one-way front diffs are allowed.

Anyways, I thought I'd ask before silk pursing the thing.

I'll send you a PM with my contact info. The Sir Goony's On-Road and Oval scene is going strong this summer. They've had a couple of great programs and the next is scheduled for Aug 3.

Folks are dusting off their stuff, or buying new stuff to run.

Hot classes are VTA, Spec 17.5, and MO5 Mini.

Hit up the sir goony's facebook page to get additional details.

Anyone wanting to get into it, or wanting to come out and run. The track is open 7 days a week for practice in addition to the regular race program.
