Some aluminum upgrades are fine but not a arms because they can bend so slightly and you could not see it but all of a sudden, your car acts different and it is never right again. I'd rather have something plastic or whatever crack or break than something bend and throw your car off and there goes money down the drain. Trying to make your car bulletproof is good but too much bling can hurt you down the road.
Also, what chassis are you talking about?

Ok sooo im tryin to fix this tc3/vta after last nights disaster. I found out that i am running a 49 pinion and 80 spur. As you guys that were there know my car is horribly slow. I re calibrated the esc and thats not the problem. Would the gearing make THAT big of a difference in power?????? Im startin to think I may have a bad motor......any ideas?????

Are you talking about the composite? I've seen some run aluminum diff cases.

Get, or, check with Gouge, he pretty much has everything you need. He probably has 5 or so pan cars for sale last i heard. As far as motors go....i think pretty much everyone is running somewhere around a 17.5 brushless system and 2c lipo's. I know a lot of guys have theirs built to the 'Nastruck' spec rules. However, with our classes being breakout rules all you need is a car that will turn 7 second laps for 5 min, there is not a burden to run the best equipment, I run Hobbywing in all my stuff.

Justin the body looks great, cant wait to see it with decals. You might as well go ahead and paint 'Ed Tabor' over the drivers door, dude is killing it in pancars.

Not sure what the off road guys will do when Chillhowee closes for the summer. I am sure Johnny would welcome there business. We will continue our on-road (only) program twice a month until at least the end of October. You are more than welcome to come race with us.

Still working on my new to me TC5. Complete tear down and had to order a few things. Having trouble finding a shock rebuild kit, Ive not seen anything like them. But hopefully I'll get it running soon and make it out for a few practice runs. Take care all.
