R1 Wurks brushless motors

My buddies (Team reaper) we have tested a few motors on the anal izer. We seemed to have gotton many make motors running good from 1.6amps to 10. So kinda hard to judge. But it is fun to use. We have a log of data motors tested. I have ran my 13.5 in mod 4wd a few times. I have the esc going to non sensored after start up and adding 6 degrees at 8000 to12000 with 49 on the can. With fan temps were only 120. But whatever

Is this motor analyzer the only thing I need to dyno test/tune these motors like you guys are?

I think it’s a worthwhile investment for less than $100. I didn’t realize how some motors internal and external timing was way off. You could have the same 2 17.5’s from same company and timing could be allot different between the two. Also, if you switch between a 12.3 and 12.5, the differences in internal and external timing can be way off like 8 degrees

That's quite an unusual combination. 7.5T is kinda slow for mod TC (especially in blinky mode), while it certainly doesn't fit any stock (blinky) class I've ever heard of either. Do the other guys you're racing with use similar combinations? Otherwise, you will probably find yourself off pace, even with a fitting FDR for that setup. Anyway, personally, I'd probably start at something like... (wow, this is difficult)... 6.5-7.0ish FDR, and then start measuring temps.

I have the 21.5 V15 motor with the 12.5 rotor. I use it for usgt. Is it worth to upgrade to the 1750 12.5 rotor? Is it compatible? Or should I just up my pinion till it temps out at 150ish or buy the v16. Any help is appreciated

what timing are y'all running on the V16 with upgraded 1700 rotor in 2wd buggy? i think i have it around 52. motor is fast. i have it geared low, but i literally can't heat this thing up. highest it's ever been is about 95 degrees. last week i ran it at a cold, outdoor facility and it was coming off around 78 degrees after a full pack of practice. running it indoors last night it was coming off around 88 degrees. again, the motor is fast, but i'm just wondering if i'm leaving some power on the table.
