I wouldn't worry about amp draw. The timing sweet spot is 43* on the can for v16.

Is this for F1 or VTA? And what FDR?

Was actually running 25.5 touring but was planning motor set-up and gearing for an upcoming VTA race (that unfortunately I didn't end making it to). Gear was 3.7 if I remember correctly. Finished 1st at the event in 25.5 TC. I will be running it again here in a couple of weeks for a VTA event and let you know. Though I do understand you're running F1.

I have a 25.5 V16 and from what I have read, I should put the timing at 30 degrees. Correct me if I am wrong.
and this timing where should I read it? on the can, on the motor analyser or on a motolyser?
P.S. I run on a carpet track 80X40 with an F1
Thanks
For F1 with the 25.5 V16 run 55 timing and 2.8 fdr on a track that size. Make sure you're using a fan on the motor. Otherwise turn the timing down.

Some times something like this shows up, and the sensor board 0-1 variance!
Resistance is at 25C(77F).

At 73*F Resistance A-17.8,B-17.7, C-17.8

This is going to be a fast motor.

Default Gearing/Timing for TLR 22 4.0

Just curious on what end bell timing and gearing with a R1 17.5T V16 in a TLR car? and is that with 12.5mm rotor or stock rotor?

I've ran it with high torque rotor in the TLR 22-4 2.0 at 82/26 47* end bell timing with really good results.

I was looking at the new R1wurks website. In the tips section they highly recommend not over heating the motor. Keeping under 55/60c. Duh. With advice on mounting motor and fan for max airflow. I already run a fan on all my motors. I have noticed some racers now running 2. They suggest 1 or more fans! Heat weakens magnets. My new 13.5 s-sss? Should be here next week. I think I am gonna start bringing ice cubes and a baggy with me to the track. My thought is to pre cool the motor before each run. 1 ice cube in bag sitting on can. Hoping for finish temps of 100-120f. My last 13.5 (not R1wurks) was only getting 140f. But I have seen guys with temps as high as 240f. Not sure what they were doing wrong. Geeked about getting new motor. Cheers. I also found this. https://www.amazon.com/MG-Chemicals-.../dp/B008UH3NB8

Depending on what rules you run under, motor cooling isn't allowed such as you're looking at. If it was we would all break out our old peltier units from Malcom the cool can man.
