br00d = br(zero)(zero)d

Hi Eddy,

I'm from belgium and I ordered 4 19t ti wolrds motors.
Sunday I will race them.
Any general gearing suggestions in compare to other 19 turns?
Should I go longer, shorter, the same?

I tested them on a straight and they are really fast!

Is there any sites I can get a Br00d motor from, seeing how the Br00d site is under construction?

centax error- What motor are you looking for gearing suggestions for and what type of car? I only have on road gearing suggestions so if it's an offroad answer that you're looking hopefully someone else can help you in that department.

centex error- For the 8x1 I would start at 8.8 on the gear ratio and go from there. With my Mission 2 I run a 8x2 and I start with a 25 pinion gear on 128 spur gear. I havent run a 6x1 or a 7x1 so the only thing I can recommend is start one tooth lower on each motor from the 8x1. So I would start with 24 pinion for the 7x1 and 23 pinion for the 6x1 that is were I would start with my car.

STLNST,

I have Brood V2's of 6x1, 7x2, and 8x1. Im running Xray FK ona small outdoor track with 90 ft straight.

8.8 FDR for the 8x1 so I would have to use a 26T pinion and 130 Spur on my Xray

one tooth lower on the 7x2 so that means 25T pinion and 130 spur and that will give me FDR of 9.2

...and for the 6x1 I would have to use 24T pinion and 130 spur and that will give me 9.59 FDR.

Does this sounds right? Its my first time using low turn mods as I was using 12T before and want to make sure that I gear it right and not burn the motors.

thanks.
