I'm going to get a amp meter, I borrowed one at the track and it was pulling over 9 amps at the original 50 deg

Interesting, what could be the problem? Not enough play? If that's the case, how do I fix that?

take the motor out pull on the pinion shaft it should have a little play if it doesn’t the rotor could be binding against the bearing to fix it you need to remove the rotor and remove a shim

I pulled on the shaft, and there is barely any play on it. I can't even feel the shaft moving, just feel a light click occasionally. Is there any guide for how much play it should have?

Shouldn't this be a warranty issue though?

What is a good rotor shimming kit? I saw Trinity's teflon kit, but I have an impression that those would wear quick

I am hoping the revtech 21.5 comes out soon! I am in need of a 21.5 for the upcoming indoor season and I have been very pleased with my 17.5 revtech.

Revtech 13.5 works very well, but timing must be near 45 and ratio around 3.9/4.0 on fast track outdoor.
