Trinity and ReVtech Motors discussion

So you get to send in your Monster Max 17.5T and in essence get a $25 discount on a basic X-Factor 17.5T...
Seems legit 😂

I think all of the motor manufacturers should just leave their "might be legal... let's hope and pray it passes tech" motors on the approved list (because for some reason we are now allowing the manufacturers to decide when a motor is legal or not!!!???) just so that we (the racers) can see ROAR buy back someone's motor under the new motor claim rule.

So I spend $165 for a Monster Max Certified motor that I can no longer use and Trinity is going to do me the great service of offering to take my $165 motor and give me $24 towards a new motor (The press release states MSRP is $149, but they are selling this new X-factor motor on their own site for $99 and $99 - $75 is $24.00!)
You don't see the issue?

Toss your 17.5 in an offroad car where nobody cares about roar legality. And switch to another brand when you need something to pass tech. Trade a $150 motor for $25? Lolz.
CanAm rules are looking better and better every day.

Not defending anything but it doesn’t matter the motor , when you guys are at the track and there’s a super fast guy winning every weekend you guys will drop what ever the cost will be to get the same motor, and after you buy the motor a few weekends later there’s another fast guy at the track and guess what , you guys will drop another $150plus to get that motor is an ongoing cycle isn’t ? Isn’t that why canAm came into the picture?

That's pretty much it. The perceived need for a new motor. Driver A blows the turn before the straight. Everyone else see's him get blown by on the straight by Driver B, a consistently fast driver.
Companies hoarding the best motors, for their favorite drivers, sure didn't help. Roar being a bit impotent at this point, ain't helping. Of course this 2nd scandal, was likely the last straw.
Not that it really matters. If the majority of the racers want to switch to Canam, because of the tooth fairy, and bad canadian cheese.......what's a track to do?
