They were submitted and passed all the inspection process back in Sept. Just waiting on ROAR to actually put them up on their site as usual. Trying to get them to update the list is like trying to make a 8 year old go to bed on Christmas eve!

Because the alternative is spending huge sums of money on motors to be competitive. The system is broken but it is the best system we have so far.

Got myself a brand new ORCA battery through TQ racing (factory sealed). ESC started smoking after plugging it in, who sees the issue:

The decals were flipped around (unfortunately I did not see the markings on the case till it was too late).

I'd contact TQracing and have them replace it.

I just sent an email to ORCA about your issue and how to resolve it for you. They may post here or email me back and I will let you know what they say.

I dont believe TQ will do anything for you as it wasnt their fault as they dont package or label the products.

Thanks

Mostly just want to remember how to calibrate and how to set the program box.

Can I just use the VXX instructions?

Yes sir. The VXX is the same. On your next order I can send a set of VX3 instructions if you still need them. But all the adjustments are the same and calibration procedure is the same. Turn radio on, hold full brake, turn speedo on and beep beep, full throttle, beep beep, then neutral, beep beep. Then its done.

ROAR's website sure does seem to have the software versions mixed up on the posting for approved blinky ORCA ESCs on their website.

Really interested in the vx3 and the motors, how do they compare to orion? Good fit for off road?

Eric, since the vx3 has a replaceable connector wire for the receiver what type of plug goes into the esc, futaba or airtronics? Also do you sell the esc power switch - osw1212e?

thanks
