Default db12r - Metric or American hardware

All of my tools are metric. This seems to be the standard with high level TC. It also seems that most of the buyers of 12th scale pan cars already have a TC. Will the db12r use metric or American hardware?

the DB12R will be standard american hardware.i am trying to keep with the 1/12th standard hardware so existing 1/12th guys wont need to buy all new hardware for spares.in TC you will find metric often due to the fact that they are mostly european or japanese cars.all the US cars are standard also.trust me,i would have rather went metric.all my other cars use metric hardware

we have a 1/10th prototype we are messing with but for now i want to concentrate on the release of the 1/12th.never rule anything out though

jason,

on the db12r, do you change the L plate to adjust for traction or are the adjustments with the tubes and center shock. basically will we need different L bars like we do t bars

from the testing we have done, the .075 flex plates have worked everywhere from super high bite carpet to low bite asphalt.they seem to be what we keep going back to on the car.i can make different thicknesses if there is interest but as of now,the .075 worked the best.we adjusted our desired steering with shock angle, pod droop, dampening in shock, tubes, and on kingpins,we adjust with tires, body type and rear body mount locations.there is alot of tuning options on the car.i may offer thinner plates but i dont think i will sell many.

since i don't have one. i can just ask questions for now. the question comes from the fact that we are using .063 t plate on low to med bit carpet and usually run 2 screws. it seams the softer setups seam to be easier to drive and are a little faster.

thanks.

so when are you shipping mine?

The more I see/read about this car the more I want to get my hands on one.... I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on the tin can I have buried in the backyard under the ce-ment pond..... I'm planning on taking a couple of "sick" days when the kit is delivered....

Does it come RTR?

Or is some assembly required????
