You've seen that XRAY seems to be realizing that a less-rigid upper deck and no standoffs might be a better solution for asphalt/rubber? They released this new deck for a reason, I imagine.

the only thing they are missing still is that you need to have a stonger lower deck than they do to get away with a flexi top deck.quasi iso tropic carbon is a must when doing this to avoid tweak issues.the component grade does not have much memory and doesnt return very well.when you add flex it increases the chance for fatigue and cracking.the quasi isotropic allows you to have flex with less chance for fatigue.

The other thing that comes to mind is the Orion 4800 lipo pack. You should test fit one, to know whether that pack will fit in your chassis. It probably won't affect my decisions, but it's good to know whether or not it would fit.

i will see what i can do.alot of the problem may be in the right side bulkhead being too low.i will see though

i just want to give and update.
Cyclone Carpet kits are back in stock. Cyclone asphalt kits will be available wednesday and T2007 asphalt kits are expected to be in stock and ready for sale on friday.i will post any updates as they happen.thanks for looking.

Jay, I ran the R at the last state race, and after a few tweeks it was awesome, too bad I got struck by the dreaded Jaco tire peel....

hey jason have you tried putting the standoffs on the cyclone for carpet then dropping spring rates all the way around my car felt alot better the other day doing this

hmm,at the snowbirds i ran the standoffs and kept my stiff springs and didnt like it so i went to no standoffs.i wonder if i should have left them on and lightened the springs.interesting bro.PM me your setup that you ran.i am very interested dude
