The facility is awesome. There were some traction problems throughout the day when it got real dry. My day ended early when I broke both 4wd and 2wd cars. The 4wd got the worst of it. There was either a section of the pipe had seperated or something but it took out the right rear. Arm, CVD, turn buckle, hinge pin, outdirve, and a hub carier. Two broken Lundsford turn buckles on the 2wd from slight, and I mean slight glances on the pipes and I packed it up. It was an Omen to go home

I had a great day on Saturday. Was 5th going into the A main for electric mod. Pulled out the big 7x2 for the main and took 2nd at the end. My car was flying! It felt like it had a 2nd gear going down the straight. Fukuyama cells did not let me down at all. They pulled hard and strong throughout the whole day. I had a blast.

How was the driver turn out?, I know on Wednesday nights they need more people. Glad to hear that the track started out with some moisture.

Four full heats. Ten cars in Expert Mod buggy. They lightly sprayed the track about 30 min before racing and opened practice back up. After practice was done and three heats, it was pretty dry by the time we got up there.

I just wanted to thank Dan and Fukuyama Batteries. I can say that this last batch of cells is by far the punchiest cells I have had to date. I yanked on the throttle and my car was a rocket. My racing buddies said to me that my car had the most rip of all the racers. I was racing against trinity boys and fusion boys and Fukuyama Racing TQ'd every round and won by more than a straightaway....

There were 4 out of 10 in the main using Fukuyama.....

The best of the best---Fukuyama

Mako gearing

Any one out there know how to gear the Mako compare to other monster motors ?
I have tried different gearings but I get the fastest times with a lower total gearing (faster top speed) but the motor get pretty hot

If I undergear a little the motors runs cool but my lap times drop

So is the Mako tuned for more tourge/less rpm or

Thanks

How big is the track. I can help with gearing but I need info on the track size and layout..... Is the track tight with a short straight away or is the track very open allowing the cars to carry a lot of corner speed!!!!!

Let me know..

Big tracks when the temp of the track is 130-140 6.75 to 7.2

Small tracks when the temp is hot 7.2-7.8

Night racing is different....

Got to get the best products back to the top.

Good luck racing everyone this weekend. I'm gonna rip it up at the 2nd of 5 races for the trinity ORL series on Sunday. Boy will it be fun.
